Formed at Trieu Thi Trinh Primary School, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 1981, and moved
to Ho Chi Minh City Labor Cultural Palace 3 years after (55B Nguyen Thi Minh Khai QI TPHCM),

 

By Chairwoman: Eminent Teacher Pham Thuy Hoan,

 

For the purpose of preserving, popularizing, and developing traditional songs, dances, and music.

 animated gifIntroducing folk songs and traditional musical instruments to schools and universities.

 animated gifWinner of many prestigious awards in National Traditional Music Festivals.

 animated gifHaving trained many young talents for the traditional music.

 animated gifOpening Dan Tranh (Vietnamese 16-stringed zither), Dan Bau (monochord), Dan Nguyet (moon-shaped lute), Dan Nhi (2-stringed fiddle), Sao Truc (bamboo flute), and folk song classes every Sunday morning at the Ho Chi MinhCity Labor Cultural Palace.
